Model Inspiration: Feaverishly Cool

I love inspired style photo shoots for magazines because you not only see the beauty but you feel it as well. Aaron Feaver, whose site is appropriately named, has captured sensual and soft earth tone moments of magic with the session below. Add in the sun for a little back light and now you have the icing on the photographic cake. Feeling inspired? Please PinTweetLike and most importantly enjoy!

This session was an editorial for Modo magazine. For the styling my friend Laura Sfez, who runs a great boutique here in Los Angeles called L’ecole des femmes, provided the clothes and styled everything. Yasuko Shapiro, one of my regular makeup artists, did the hair and makeup. We shot it up in Malibu Creek State Park, in Malibu, California. We found a pretty spot near a creek and set up camp there, and shot through the afternoon. The models were Jena Yeargan, from Vision, and Sarah Maresh, from Elite.

Gear Used:

Canon 5D Mk. II

50mm 1.4 lens

Fuji Instant film

Fuji Instax 500AF

(These chosen photos are all shot digitally)
